Born into a family of painters, my artistic apprenticeship began in my childhood in my parent’s studio. At the age of 19, I came to Paris to pursue my cursus at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. I also graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Modernes.

I started working as a graphic artist for advertising, doing illustrations for magazines and books, and taking part in various architectural projects, for which I produced mosaics and murals.

Finally, painting, which I had never ceased to practice, became my main occupation.

I have exhibited in more than 100 individual and group shows and Salons. Several of my paintings are in collections in Paris, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Berlin, Cracow…

Long attached to the graphic values of visual expression, the substance of my work, maturing, gradually became enriched and transcended the figurative to an abstract expression.

We live in the era of digital technology, my approach is yet deliberately traditionally pictorial. I always prepare my material: I stretch the canvas, raw and sensual, I create emptiness with the coat of primer, I prepare my colors, flowing and smooth. I choose the paper according to the texture, I start pouring the ink that I am fond of.All these steps allow me to get into peak condition before taking action…The gesture of a large paintbrush or a spalter lays the dynamics. Then the eye evaluates and brings the picture to an ending. But chance always finds a space and tells us about sensitiveness (serendipity).
